Tourists for a day

The Palo Alto McCormick's went to San Francisco for the day to show Britney's boyfriend, Matt, what California is all about (he's from Colorado). Surprisingly, San Francisco was warm and sunny! We walked across the Golden Gate Bridge, walked around Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf, and Pier 39. We were the quintessential tourists!

Lyra

Over the weekend Brian and I dogsat his brother's family dog, Lyra. She is about one year old and is full of energy. After hours of playing catch, runs to and from the park, and three long walks per day, she finally took a nap - she's so peaceful when she sleeps! We bought her a new toy, the squirrel, which she instantly began tearing to shreds. Although we enjoyed our weekend of dogsitting, we gladly returned her to her family.

Summer Solstice Wedding

Our friends Dawn and Brian wed over Summer Solstice weekend in Santa Barbara. Dawn looked radiant in her gown and Brian was handsome in his tux.

Father's Day 2008

Brian and I took Papa McCormick to Ridge Winery for some wine tasting and a picnic then to Savannah Channelle Winery for another round of tasting on Father's Day.

Memorial Day 2008

Our friend Carolyne hosted a fabulous Memorial Day BBQ. Right before the guests arrived, the sun burst through the clouds and made for a perfect sunny day to honor our troops past and present.

Bay to Breakers 2008

May 18th was Bay to Breakers in San Francisco. A few of us decided to walk it and check out the scenery. Summary: Lots of naked drunks

Mother's Day and Dad's 70th

Over Mother's Day weekend, the family got together to surprise Dad with an early Happy Birtday and celebrate Mother's Day in Newport Beach.
