Harvest Festival in Paso Robles

Harvest Festival fell on the weekend of October 19-21 this year. Some of the family trekked up/down to Paso Robles for a weekend of fabulous food, wine and family time! While the boys played golf, the girls went on a wine and olive oil tasting adventure. Pasolivo has fabulous flavored oils, like tangerine and lemon. Mom's favorite is the hearty kalamata. Opolo might be one of the best reserve zinfindel wines we've tried in the region. Too bad the boys missed out on our adventure. Although, they said the course is beautiful. Windy, but beautiful. In the afternoon, we all went to the Linne Calodo party where music, food and wine kept us entertianed for hours. On our way back to the hotel (a long four miles), we got thirsty and stopped off at Hunt Cellars and Peachy Canyon to "hydrate". A perfect weekend!
